Michael studied a Combination of an Extended Diploma in Applied Science (Forensic Science), and A Levels in Geography, Biology and Chemistry while at Truro and Penwith College.
He recalls his time at the college as being an important transition between school and university. “College was a time of great academic and personal development where I started to build confidence in scientific knowledge and my skillset.”
“The lecturers do their utmost to encourage students to flourish and achieve good results through their teaching and give useful feedback on how to improve. I’ll never forget how much their efforts, enthusiasm and feedback have helped me grow as a person. I cannot thank them enough for the impact they’ve had on my life” said Michael. “It’s really such a privilege to be exposed to so many analytical technologies that are part of everyday scientific analysis at such a young age.”
“I’m thankful for all the support and guidance I got while at College and it’s something I take forward in my career. Though career paths have changed along the way, I feel equipped with the fundamentals I took with me from College”.
